Aluminum inspection door for facade, removable 400x400x15

The facade doors are intended for the thermal insulation of a building. They are made of aluminum profiles. The inner leaf is filled with a Powerpanel H2O (Fermacell) cement-fiber board. The closing of the inner leaf is ensured by a handle lock (square spindle). The removable design of the inner leaf from the frame increases the clear passage and makes installation much easier during fitting. The inner leaf is fitted with a rubber seal that prevents the passage of cold when the door is closed. The removable leaf also makes it easier to clean the frames after the facade render has been applied. The removable design of the door is secured by a safety cable.

Installation:

• Remove the inner leaf of the door from the outer frame
• Mark out the total dimension of the outer leaf (W x H x D) on the polystyrene
  - with a tolerance of 6-8 mm on each side, both on the vertical and horizontal sides
  - the resulting gap between the polystyrene and the frame will later be filled with PU foam

• Cut the opening in the polystyrene according to the marking
• Insert the outer frame of the door ¹⁾ into the opening and fix it with wedges ²⁾
• Foam the outer frame around its entire perimeter with PU assembly foam
• After it has cured, trim off the excess foam
• Now apply the glass-fiber mesh (reinforcing mesh) around the outer frame up to the edge of the frame and also onto the board of the inner leaf.
• Apply the facade render onto the facade around the outer frame of the door and also onto the board of the inner leaf ³⁾
• After applying the render, clean the outer frame and inner leaf wherever it was soiled by the render, especially in the places where there is a gap between the frames
• After the facade render has dried, fit the inner leaf into the outer frame, close it and secure it with the handle, or with the safety cable

Installation notes:

¹⁾ When installing the removable design, build in the door with the lock facing upwards (the inner leaf tilts out)
²⁾ When installing, set the visible side of the outer frame over the facade according to the thickness of the render, so that after applying it
the facade is flush with the edge of the visible side
³⁾ The 15 mm thick inner leaf is filled with a 12.5 mm thick board – 2.5 mm remains for the reinforcing mesh and facade render
