Fire inspection door EI30 aluminum for plasterboard ceiling 400x400x12,5/15

A variant of ceiling door with an outer frame 12.5 mm thick and an inner frame 15 mm thick.

The door is made of aluminum profiles welded into an outer and inner frame. The complete assembly is joined by a solid hinge, thus allowing the door leaf to be opened when needed. The inner leaf is fitted with a fire seal that expands many times over at high temperature and thus prevents the penetration of fire. The door infill consists of a red board, fixed using self-drilling screws.

In order for the door to meet the stated fire resistance, after installation into a plasterboard ceiling it must always be fitted with mineral wool 25 mm thick, which must also have a bulk density of 150 kg/m³. The mineral wool can be laid loosely on the installed door from the inside; it does not have to be anchored.

Comfortable opening and closing is guaranteed by US push locks located on the outer frame. Pressing the inner frame board at the lock point causes the latch to click out or click in. For greater safety, the door is fitted with a safety cable that prevents accidental falling out.
