LATICRETE® HYDRO BAN® waterproofing membrane

LATICRETE® HYDRO BAN® is a highly effective load-bearing waterproofing membrane that does not require the use of sealing tapes in corners and at joints up to 3 mm wide. Thanks to its excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates, it is universally usable in various areas of construction.

The membrane is enriched with Microban® technology, which provides permanent protection against the growth of mold, fungi and bacteria that cause stains and unpleasant odors.

Use:

HYDRO BAN® is suitable for application on cement boards, self-leveling screeds, plasters, concrete, plasterboard, ceramic and stone tiling. The waterproofing can be used both indoors and outdoors, for example on terraces, balconies or facades.

Application:

The product can be applied with a brush, roller or trowel. To achieve complete watertightness, two layers must be applied. HYDRO BAN® changes color from light green to olive green when cured. The ideal temperature for application is between 10 °C and 30 °C. Before application, the surface must be clean, free of dust, oil, grease, coatings and other impurities.

• Packaged in a plastic container weighing 10 kg.
• Consumption is approximately 0.95 kg/m² when applying two layers.
